He then transferred in March 1992 to FC'1 Cl.ANT Dain Neck. Va and attended MK86 Gun Fire Control System lf'C', School wliere he graduated lirst in his class. He then reported to PCU Cape St. ticorgc in December 1992. While onboard USS Cape St.George CCG-711 from .lnnc 1993 to F ebrnary 1997 Chief Lucchesi was part of the gurmery team which won the James li. Chezek Memorial Award three times. After suffering a sports rclatcd injury hc was placed on limited duty at FTSCLANT until September 1998. llis next assignment was as Work Center Supervisor of the MK86 Gun Fire Control System onboard USS Leyte Gulf CCG-551 from October 1998 until De- cember 2001. ln January 2001 Chief Lucchesi received orders to be a MK86 GFCS 1nstrnctor'n FCTCLANT Da N k l ' - in ec w iere he was selected for chief.
