Wiesc enlisted in the Navy in .July 1997. Upon graduation from boot camp in September 1997, she the Defense Language Institute CRussian Schoolj in Monterey, California, which she graduated with honors in November 1998. Follow-on training took r to Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas, and ultimately she served as a CTI2 at NSGA Kunia, Hawaii. While .stationed at NSGA Kunia, LTJG Wiese was given the q 1 g g g in St. Peters- burg, Russia. After four years of enlisted service, she applied for the NROTC schol arship commissioning program. LTJG Wiese attended Villanova University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Russian Area Studies. She reported to USS RA MAGE for her first Division Ofhcer tour as the Electronic Warfare Officer in January After completion of Surface Warfare Officer School in September 2006, she to RAMAGE as First Lieutenant. Wieseas second Division Officer tour will take her to USS TORTUGA LS she will serve as Training Officer. C D 465, stationed out of Sasebo, Japan, Wieseis personal awards include the Good Conduct Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Sea Service Deploy- ment Ribbon, and the National Defense Medal. A BMCCSWJ Miel1ael J. Sweitzer OD Division LCPO riginally from Chicago, IL, BMC CSWJ Michael J. Sweitzer enlisted in the avy in August 1990. Upon graduation from boot camp in October 1990, was stationed onboard the USS RICHMOND K. TURNER. Vlfhile there he was advanced to BM3. He served a successful tour and upon his EAOS decided to try civilian life. In November of 1995 he rejoined the Navy. In February of 1996 he was assigned to USS EMORY S. LAND, he quickly hed rigger, and rig captain. Unfortunately he suffered an on the job injury was assigned limited duty for year and a half at the Navy Legal Service Of- Mid-Atlantic. While there he quickly learned all there was and acted in the of a seasoned legal man, and was the command's Non-legal man of the , and also earned a Navy Achievement Medal for his duties as Wills and Power of Attorney Petty Officer. In November of 1997 he was found fit for full duty and stationed on USS AUS- TIN. He quickly earned his ESWS and was advanced to BM2. After the USS l Austin, he elected to take his shore duty as a Recruit Division Commander, in Great Lakes, IL. While he was assigned there he advanced to BMI, earned his Master I Training Specialist, and was their Instructor ofthe Year. His next tour I brought him back to Norfolk, VA on the USS CARR as the first divi- sion LPO. He was selected to BMC in September of2005 and was then transferred to the USS RAMAGE in November of 2005. 5fN ChiefSweitzer's personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal C4 awardsj, flood Conduct C4 Awardsl and various campaign 'Ji' '. .3 1 and unit citations.
