After completion of Recruit Training and Gunner's Mate NAU School at Great Lakes, IL, Chief Quinones reported to the precommisioning detachment for USS CARTER HALL CLSD-505 in New Orleans LA. While Onboard CARTER HALL he was command advanced to Petty Officer Second Class. On March 1999, Chief Quinones transferred from Carter Hall to Fire Controlman Av School with followion orders to Close In Weapons System CH Schogl, In June 2000, Chief Quinones reported onboard to USS ROBERT G BRADLEY CFFG-495 were he served as Leading Petty Officer for CF Division.
