Woody attended East Tennessee State University and State College, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering in Ma selected to attend Officer Candidate School in January 2004. Y Woody received his first orders to the USS NICHOLAS Q d out of Norfolk VA LTJG Woody was assigned as the Ordnance e onboard NICHOLAS he qualified Combat Information Center Watch' er of the Deck Underway Engineering Oflicer of the Watch and earnedthe to wear the Surface Warfare Of1'icer pin He completed one three yment to the Mediterranean during the summer of 2005 in support of on Terrorism. LTJG Woody deployed again in the spring . fleet as part of the Enterprise Strike Group. Lowery CF Division LCPO hief Petty Officer Tim J. Lowery enlisted in the Navy in September 1995 and upon completion of Recruit Training at Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Electronic Technician 'CAP school and NAVMACS V2 Communications HCP school. Upon completion of NAVMACS MCR School in 1996, Chief Lowery reported onboard.5I,JSS PETERSON CDD-9695 in Norfolk, Virginia, where he was the Work CenteiffSiipervisor for the CommunicationsDivision. He subsequently attended AN! SPS-55 and MK XII IFF HC schools and returned to the PETERSON as the Radar Division Work Center Supervisor. Onboard PETERSON, he advanced to Second Class Petty Officer in 1999 and completed two six month deployments- one to the North Atlantic and the other to the Mediterranean Sea. In October 2001, Chief Lowery transferred to SIMA Norfolk, Virginia, where he was the Leading Petty Officer of the Electronics Shop C67Aj., He was promoted to First Class Petty Officer in 2004. In August 2004, upon completion of a successiirl tour at SIMA, he attended ANfUPX-24 IFF HC school in Pax River, Maryland en route to USS RAMAGE QDDG-6,lpj.g, chrefmweryfepor1edmYcUss RAMAGE DDG- ' - H 1 ' tw and leading ANXUPX-24 IFF Technician until July 2006 when he was selected for Chief Petty! Officer.
