After completion of Recruit I Lakes, Illinois, Ensign Goodson completed nearly one year of additional training at Naval Submarine Training Center Groton, Connecticut Trident Facility Kingsbay, Georgia. His follow on assignment from Trident ll Navigation C school was PCU WYOMING QSSBN 7423 at Electric Boat Shipyard in Groton, Connecticut, where he reported in June I995. Onboard WYOMING, he was command advanced to Petty Officer Second Class in January 1998 and completed six Strategic Deterrent He completed Enlisted Submarine Qualification, Quartermaster of the Watch, Strategic Supervisor, Chief of the Watch and was selected as USS WYOMING Junior Sailor Year in 1998. A In January 2000, Ensign Goodson reported to Naval Submarine Support Command QNSSCD in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where he served as Operations Department Leading Petty Officer, Submarine Harbor Movement Coordinator and qualified Command Duty Officer CCDOJ. He advanced to First Class Petty Officer in December 2000 and selected as NSSC Pearl Harbor Sailor of the Year in 2002. f In January 2003, Ensign Goodson reported to USS Columbus QSSN 7625 in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii where he served as Navigation Division Leading Petty Officer and Educational Services Of X , , C , was selected as USS COLUMBUS Sailor ofthe Year in 2003 and then selected for Chief Petty Officer in July 2004. In November 2004, Ensign Goodson reported to USS CHICAGO QSSN 7215 in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii where he served as Navigation Leading Chief Petty Officer, SOMS Administrator, and Sail Coordinator. Ensign Goodson was selected for a commission under Duty Officer Program in February 2005. He was selected as Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Puget Sound Sailor ofthe Year in 2004 and was subsequently selected as Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master INCTAMSJ Pacific Regional Sailor of the Year in late 2004. I June 2005, Chief Craig reported to USS FALCON CMHC-595 in Ingleside,i.il'X where he as Electronics Maintenance Officer CEMOJ, Communications Officer QCOMMOJ, 3-M Coordinator C3MCj, ADP Officer QADPOJ, Decommissioning Coordinator QDECOMOJ and qualified as Command Duty Officer CCDOLD, He was selected for Chief Petty Officer in July 2005. While onboard, USS FALCON assisted in clearing safe shipping channels the aftermath of Hurricane Rita and was decommissioned on 30 June 2006. n ' I Chief craig reported to Uss RAMAGE CDDG-615 in July 2006 and Cummtiy serves as CE Divisional LCPo, and Command MWR Funds Custodian.
