Change of Command i On ll February, 2007, CDR Randell W. Dykes, USN, assumed command of USS RAMAGE as Commanding Officer from CDR James Dick, USN. CAPT Franken, Commodore Destroyer Squadron 28, presided over the morning festivities which included a steal-beach picnic on the starboard amidships quarterdeck. CAPT Davis Commanding Oflicer, USS VELA GULF, a mentor to CDR Dick was the honored guest. CDR Dick was RAMAGE's 7th Commanding Officer, and will be remembered well by all who served under him.
