Semor Class Hlstory The Sp1r1t of 1951 started 1ts run at Ralpho Townshlp Hlgh School on September 1947 w1th 29 passengers Actlng as Chlef Engxneer was Joyce Ney Second Englneer, Robert Yost Travel Agent Ann Snyder Conductor, Danny Szekely Gu1de Llbby Holman On our Journey we attended a Bake Sale at the Methodlst Church 1n January, and an Easter Egg Raffle at R T H S m Aprxl We arrxved at the frrst stop over of our trlp on May 28 1948 wlth 26 passengers aboard We resumed our Journey on September 1948 wlth 26 passengers Thls course of our Journey was gulded by Chlef Engmeer Glenn Krexsher Second Eng1neer Sh1r1ey Decker Travel Agent V1rg1n1a Swank Conductor Nancy Rhodes Gu1de, Irene Jessrck We held a Bake Sale at the Methodxst Church ln October recexved our Class Rmgs 1n December, 1948 sold B1rthday Calendars and sold school lunches every week arrlved at the half way mark of our tr1p on May 29 1949 wlth all 26 passengers aboard On September 1949, we contlnued our Journey wlth 26 passengers At the controls were Ch1efEng1neer Llbby Holman Second Engmeer, Robert Yost Travel Agent Joyce Ney Conductor Ann Snyder Guide Shlrley Decker The events of thxs journey were Noon lunches blrthday calendars, skatmg party, hay ride and a bake sale at the Metho dxst Church ln December The hlgh hght of th1s Journey was the Jumor Sen1or Banquet and Prom held at the Char Mund xn the Country near Orangevllle We pulled lnto our last We resumed the last lap of our Journey ln September, 1950, wlth 22 passengers Led by our Ch1ef Engineer Myron De1tr1ck Second Englneer, Llbby Holman Travel Agent, Norma Pensyl Conductor Ann Snyder and Gu1de, Margle Welkom we sponsored a Sauer Kraut Supper at the Parlsh House 1n October and a Ham Supper 1n February and sold Blrthday Calendars Flnally wlth our destmatlon outlxned on the rushmg horizon, we were honored guests at the Jumor Semor Prom held at the Pme Barn Inn m Danville on May 15 1951 Followmg were the Baccalaureate Servlce on May 27 1951 at the Presbyternan Church Class N1ght on May 29 1951 at the Parlsh House, and flnally our destlnatlon was reached wlth Com mencement Exercxses on May 31 1951 at the Parxsh House DO YOU REMEMBER ?
