} u L l 1 1 L l i e finally had underclassmen. With the opening of the new building and two classes, we were on our own as a real high school with the people to prove it. The sophomores could choose to guide or look down on the freshmen, which helped give us some sort of identity. Our numbers were small with only 600 students, but it had it ' s advantages. Almost everyone got top lockers and the halls weren ' t that jammed between classes. It all worked to give us a sense of pride and unity. We made the decision: we were definitely here to stay.
