Class Registration. Senior Rings. Drill tryouts. Exams. Summer tans and summer fun were right around the corner. As the year wound down, a feeling of establishment was with us. The parking lot had more cars in May than it had had in September, with more and more students successfully completing drivers ed. We were well on our way to being a real high school and we were more than ready to shed the middle school image. Sports teams were already gearing up for varsity competition and the prom committee was already raising money for the first prom. There was no doubt about it ... we were HERE TO STAY.
