Come and get spirited with the Pep Club! This organization plans and carries out the various dress-up days during both the football and basket- ball homecomings. Some of the different dress-up days are: Fifties Day, Career Day. Red and Black Day. and MiX-Match Day. The Pep Club also had several money making projects: they sold candy. giant coloring books, R.E. hats and scarves, foot- ball and basketball pins. and pompoms. The offi- cers are: Left to right, Front row- Stacy Stewart - Vice President. Carla Keedy -- Treasurer, Buster I-lanson - President, and Mrs. Caddie - Sponsor. Standing - Beth Nicholson - Secretary. Chess Team iilllthtix , The Chess Team participated in the city tournament and played other schools in the area. They ranked third in the city and are planning a trip to Nashville for the state tournament. The members are: Left to right. First row - Iohn Crabb, Chester Lee. Robert Kingsbury, and Mark Danes. One hundred and fifty cadets strong. the program is designed to inspire leadership and disci- pline through actual managerial practice. Management of the numerous unit activi- ties. both business and social, is solely the responsibility of the cadets. It is a fully accredited Aerospace Science course offering scholarship opportunities as well as military entry benefits for those stu- dents who are not college oriented.
