TO THE SENIORS: Rewards of life are earned by the extra effort we put into our endeavors. ln most instances. it's the extra effort, or the lack of it. that determines whether we just get by or we get ahead. If you look at all successful people. you find that they have one common bond. they are willing to give that extra effort. They are not satis- fied with merely doing what is required. ln order to see if you are will- ing to give that extra effort. you should ask yourself the following questions: Do you take personal interest in everything you do? Do you try to increase your knowl- edge and develop a capacity to assume greater responsibilities? Do you look for ways of doing a job better? Do you make a point of being pleasant and agreeable with people? Do you continu- ously improve yourself mentally. morally, and spiritually? Do you waste time, rush to complete a job. and quit as soon as you have done what is required? No one can compel you to exert any extra effort. This is a decision you must make for your- self. B. E.
