'liss Raleigh Eggpf 427 3 -9 -4 wg Marsha Baskin This year's Miss Raleigh-Egypt is MAR- SHA A. BASKIN. The A stands for Ann, but people of Raleigh believe that A should stand for ambitious. From the minute she set forth in REHS her contrib- utions have been endless. Her many accomplishments include being a class officer during her Freshman, Junior and Senior years. Her Junior year she was elected first president of SSS during which time she was able to unite 200' girls who performed various charitable activities. Marsha's pep and enthusiastic attitude earned her the honor of being elected captain of the Varsity Cheerleaders and Most Spirited by her classmates. Plan- ning to continue her education, Marsha aspires to become a nurse thus showing her concern for others. Our Miss Raleigh- Egypt, Marsha A. Baskin with emphasis on the A . 459 'aj-SKA IY 'TZ -.8 -

Jeff Walker If ever there was a perfect example of the All American Boy, JEFF WALKER is the one. He has shown outstanding repre- sentation of Raleigh-Egypt through lead- ership and sportsmanship. He's gone from President of the Freshman class to Judicial Board President and on to President of the Student Council. Every morning we hear his low rugged voice over the intercom. as he fulfills his Student Council Presiden- tial duties. Jeff is a 3 year lerterman in Baseball and Football, earning All Con- ference his Junior and Senior years in Football. In Baseball his favorite position is catcher. Somehow, with all his activi- ties, Jeff has maintained an overall B average. We are proud and honored to have someone like Jeff Walker to repre- sent us as Mr. Raleigh-Egypt.
