THE ANTICS OF ANDREW A comedy ln '3 acts was given by the Iumor Class March 28 Andrew the hero of the play was played by Deryl Underbakke He is to have a blrthday omner durmg the first part of the play and compllcatlons arlse when h1s uncle from New Zealand arrlves You see h has hed to h1s uncle about a fake wlfe and mother ln law 1n order to have hts uncle 1ncrease his allowance The play turns out O K however and has a hapoy endlng w1th Andrew marrymg Althea lhorne Carmen Havnen The cast was as follows Petunia Andrew s darky cook Jean Hart Andrew Brown A semor tn Cameron College Deryle Underbakke Jacques His French butler and valet Ionn Larson Willie Waldo His pal Duare jacob on Harold Hadley Another pal Donald Gunderson Althea Thorne Miss Prunella s niece -Carmen havnen Iulie Boynton Harold s sweetheart Alta I hnson Dean Socrates Boynton Dean of Cameron College Albert Sheldon Issac Zimmerman Andrew s m1ll1ona1re u.ncl 1- Omer Legrled Miss Prunella Thorne A maiden lady in love with Maxme Hovland the dean O Flarity A detective from headquarters Robert A mus Boyle Hls shadow Dav1d Heath Rev Doolittle A man of mystery Lyle Quam FRESHMAN INITIATION The Senior class d1d a very good Job of r1pening the Freshmen who were so green at the flrst of the year During the third week of school the Freshmen really had to step to the tune of the Semors The girls were forced to wea r n shlrts sox garters and elbow bands and straw hats They wore skirts with overall sus penders No make up was allowed The boys had to wear T sh1rts and ve sts w1t.h flashy ties strmgless work shoes silk stockings, overall rolled to the kne s straw hats and a lot of make up Both boys and girls had to carry every book to every class in gunny sacks Whenever they met a senior they had to b w and ay, I ove the Semors The whole student body wltnessed the torture that the Freshmen were put through on the big mght They were blindfolded with on1on soaked towels and led through a lme of tubs which were filled wlth colored water and sand soaked rnacarom Cwormsl and at the end they were glven a dead man's hand Ca hand wlth shmy lotlon on it D To top it all off they were each glven an egg shampoo You were all good sports Freshmenlll L A.- ' . g . , . . 5 . . .
