You go f0Tth to greener pastures, we hope to successful and worth while lives. we ex- tend to you the best of wishes and luck for your future endeavors. Those Seniors who have made it possible produce this annual are to be congratulated. The people who chased ads and thus helped to finance this book are to be also congratu- lated. Your pay is in the completion of a job well done. This school year has been a trying one probably due to the unrest throughout the rest of the world. Our habit of living and form of government is being put to the test. If our morals and character building is not well founded we may be in for a great upheaval and a severe awakening. The young people of our country we hope will take their places in society to build a better country and weed out he graft and incompetenqy of those institutions found o Once again good luck Seniors, may you be a credit to your school, community, state and the good old U. CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of '52, of Rainier High School, Rainier, Washington, in leaving our beloved Alma Mater, and wishing to rid ourselves of all our acquired knowledge, abilities, tricks, traits, and etc., do hereby make our last will and testament on this day of days. I, Bob Pettit, leave to Bob Whittington my formula on How Not to Grow A Beard. I, Evelyn Marchand, leave all my jobs, especially that of editor of the annual, to any Junior willing to take on the work. I know there won't be very many. I, Paul Munter, not wishing any hamr, bequeath my industrious ways and money making schemes to Danny Larsen. I, Joann Watson, will my ability to fall off horses to Carol Nelson, knowing that she is al- ready unbalanced. I, Reda Crumley, leave my wad of gum, that has given me four years of faithful service, and the wrapper that goes with it to Beverly Hedgers, providing she will keep it as long as I have. I, Buck Reichel, bequeath my gentle and manly ways to Melvin Frost, seeing he needs them more than I. I, Jaunita Karsunky, bequeath unto Virginia Porter my free booklet Better Results With Glue, which contains many useful hints on how to hold a boy friend. I, Darrell Jensen, hereby will my position on the school paper to either a Freshman or 3 Sophomore as I know the Juniors will be much too busy trying to get someone else to do their work. I, Dillard Jensen, will and bequeath my ability to skip school to Lila Kerns, knowing she has a good start. I, Ella Mae Strand, do will and bequeath my temper to Loretta Bamhouse, knowing she has the hair to go with it. 1, Dick Weikg, will my convertible to the Junior Class as they never seem to go anywhere. To the Juniors, we leave the thought that next year, they will have to put out the school annual. To the Sophomores, we leave the various ideas on how to make money so that they won't have so much trouble making money for the Junior-Senior Banquet. To the Freshmen, we leave the thought that next year, they get to do the initiating. , - CLASS PROPHECY It was early this year, 1962, and I, Dillard Hensen, was driving my truck toward Seattle. Yes, I have been working for Johnson Auto Freight, which runs between Los Angeles and Seattle, for about five years. Gordon Johnson is now a big man owning a big freight line, containing 221 trucks. I have heard that by next year he is going to extend his truck line from the Canadian to the Mexican border. Yes, Gordon Johnson is now a big man. I was about one hundred and ninety miles from Seattle when I saw a familiar name upon a sign on top of a gas station, reading, Weiks Auto Repair, the sign also read We re- pair anything that is wrong with your car, Come in and see us. Yes, Dick got to be a good mechanic. I see there is a row of cars waiting to get service at Weiks Auto Repair. Istopped to make a telephone call and I was going toward the telephone office, whenl saw one of the operators through the window. She had a familiar face and yes, it was Ella Mae Strand, so she is still a telephone operator. I was driving on the highway when a bus passed me. The driver looked familiar, and he certainly was because it was Bob Pettit, yes, Bob is a driver for one of the most well known bus lines in the United States. Bob drives all over the country. I had just turned on the radio, when I caught a voice which belonged to Juanita Karsunky. Yes, Juanita got to be a radio star. I also read in the paper the other day that Juanita was going to Hollywood to start in the motion pictures. I was about ninety six miles from my destination when I saw an accident, and about two minutes later a policeman appeared on the scene. I thought he looked familiar, and yes, it was Hugh Reichel. I see Hugh is right on the job. An ambulance arrived anda doctor stepped out to take a look at the victim, and turned out to be my cousin, Darrell Jensen. Yes, Darrell is the chief doctor for one of the biggest hospitals in the state of Washington. Last week when I was talking to Darrell, he said that they were hiring two new nurses. Do you think you know who they were ? Yes, none other than Reda Crumley and Joann Watson. Both Reda and Joann have taken up nursing, Well, ldrove away from the SCCIIC Of the 8CCi - dent because I didn't want Hugh Reichel on my tail. As I passed the bank, the president came out, accompanied by his secretary. I thought she had a familiar face, and as I looked closer I saw that it was Evelyn Marchand. So she must be the new secretary the president told me about. Well, after I reached my destination, Johnson Auto Freight Co., located in Seattle, the trip was over and two days later I started the return trip to Los Angeles. ' In-' A L.. 'E A S. A 41. .-ix ,,.
