Girls’ League Senior Tea—a Huge Success The new slate of officers: K. Ostrand, Pres.; N. Blunk, V. Pres.; T. Jarrett, Sec.; R. Gurwell, Program Chairman; R. Barton, Treas.; L. Patching, Jr. Rep.; J. Graham, Soph. Rep.; D. Hadlock, Sr. Rep.; K. Wilson, Historian. This year's tea saw a new type of entertainment pre- sented. The Casual Hut in Longview gave a style show of summer fashions for the young. The sextet per- formed, the band played, and Nancy and Rick Foshaug sang a few numbers. Peggy Griffiths the out-going Pres- ident presented her cabinet with a gold fish apiece. Miss Wray, a past Girls' League advisor, was honored also. The stage band performing during the Senior Tea.

The Honor Society started out the year by tapping new Honor Society members. The next day the new Honor Society members had to wear long underwear and gunny sacks. During bas- ketball season the members sold tickets and worked in concession stands.
