25 This picture of the band was taken in Blackrock Park by the sea in Dublin, Ireland. The band played in a lot of different places in Europe, but this was one of the most beautiful. Dennis Wellington Curt Curry Mr. Fred Bell We dedicate these pages to Mr. Bell because of his outstanding job with the band this year and for arranging the band tour of Europe last summer. He was also voted Rainier's Man of the Year by the Rainier Jaycees.

Many Talents of the Band The band has held up their rep- utation and tradition from last year and even more by playing for many dances and proms in Oregon and in Washington. They have given per- formances at annual conventions such as the annual Soil and Water Con- servation Committee, and the annual P. T.A. convention. Student Council 26 John Lowe, Vice President, and Dennis Wellington, President, make a final decision. Student Council, advised by Mr. Crocker, originated many new projects this year. They sponsored a number of good assemblies in- cluding Charles King, Kirby Brumfield, and Sand Cross. They also donated money to the Emeraude, sent cheerleaders to clinic, sent cheerleaders to state, and made plans to re- vise the constitution.
