The mathematics teachers were Mr. Muck who taught Algebra I and II, Calculus, trigo- nometry and analysis. Miss Jensen who taught Geometry and General Math. Mr. Mason who taught Business Math and General Math. The higher forms of math, Trigonometry, Analysis and Calculus were designed for the students who are planning to go to college or major in the field of math. Mr. Muck working out a problem for his students. General Math students working hard on a difficult problem.

Mr. Humphrey and class experimenting with helium The general science classes taught by Mr. Humphrey, Miss Jensen, and Mr. Mason went on field trips to various plants such as Reynolds Aluminum and Crown Zellerbach at Wauna. The students got to see industry in action and learn how it helps us. They also experimented with gases such as helium to see its effects on the lungs. Giving a science report can prove to be a tense situation.
