8 Cooks Custodians Lee Williams: never a dull moment We were very fortunate to have Louise Cowan, Betty Brown, and Zelma Doty as our cooks. Mrs. Doty also was in charge of the laundrying of towels and sports uniforms. On our custodian staff was Reuban Oilila, Lee Williams and Joyce Robinson.  9 Home Economics Mrs. Chase: I hope they don't eat that stuff. Home Economics was taught by Mrs. Chase. The students learned cooking, sewing and a course in foreign cookery. The students learned how to prepare the different foods. They enjoyed making them as well as eating them. The boys learned some practical knowledge in the new cook and sew class. They learned the basic things of cooking and sewing, including making aprons. Agriculture The AG. class was taught by Mr. Dirickson.
