Senior Class Will We, the 1957, graduating class of Rainier Union High School, being of sound mind and body and desirous of bequeathing the remains of our dearest possessions, do hereby declare this to be our will and testament. I, Ralph Anderson, will the new pole-vaulting pole to anyone that can go 13 feet 6 1 4 inches. I, Buddy Appleby, will — leave. I, Barbara Appleby, will my ability to drive to Karen Curteman, and messy locker to Nancy Danchok. I, Beula Blade, will my extia two week vacation from school to Juanita West. I, Martha Blair, will be an old married woman June 1. I, Robert Bowers, will my seat in Chemistry to Bob Phillips, my place on the basketball team to Dangerous Don, and my place on the track team to Bill Roberts. I, Robert Bullis, will all my old Senior Scholas- tic's to Leonard Breen in hopes that he will get more out of the cross word puzrles than I did. I, Janice Bush, will my desk and grades in jour- nalism to anyone who takes it next year, and to Henry Keith my desk in American Problems. I, Vince Cooney, will my intelligence in advan- ced algebra and trigonometry to Muriel John- stun. I, Judy Cowles, will my extra credit to Dennis Thompson. I, Dawn DilIcy, will my empty talcumn powder can to Juanita Baumgardner. She will need to refill it for next year's P. E. class. I, Shari Dias, will leave. . . .and take the Delena bus driver with me. I, Don Euhus, will my ability to do bookkeeping to Katie , whether she wants it or not. I, Ralph Erickson, will my Democratic locker to Bud Cook and my seat in Trigonometry to Don Powell and my baseball hitting average 7 7 ? to Mike Harmon. I, Leilani Fogle, will my ability to get along with teachers to Dennis the Menance; he will need it. I, William Fogle, will my inability to play a guitar and repair TV sets, to anyone that needs it. I, Shirley Frame, will my biology desk to any- body that wants it. I, Ida Furer, will to Darlene Pfaff my messy locker and my neighbors roll of tissue paper. I, Marylee Hammond, will my ability to get my Spanish done to Penny Cowan. I, Carol Hamilton, will my piano in Chorus 11 to Janet Hansen whether she wants it or not. I, Grace Hickel, will my ability to make pea- nut butter cookies to Mr. Olson (no more frying pans). I, Skip Lance, will my spot as hurdler to Alvin Roberts and Tom Wayne and my ability to get along with Mr. Belieu to Alan Widme and David Otto. I, Dolores Lewis, will my grades in study hall to my sister, Billie. I, Joyce Ledford, will my sister, June. I, Claudia McCollam, will my ability to get kicked off the pep club to Mary Anne Middle - ton, and my messy locker neighbor to any- one who can put up with her. I, Marilyn Merritt, will my love for snakes to Bob Watson. I, Patricia Nelson, will my dishwater hands to Beverly Barnett. I, Paul Nys, will all my old dirty broken down, torn, and ragged football, basketball, and baseball shoes to Mike Harmon and Gary Cook. I, Don Pfaffle, will my ability to throw the shot put to big Jerry Canning and a hitchkick to Mike King if he doesn't make that 20 feet. I, Carolyn Pike, will my ability and success in good old R.U.H.S. to my little brother when he comes. (If he comes.) I, Deanna Plouff, will my driving ability to Dianne Souther. I, Lester Prouty. will my English grades to Bob Norman, who would be better off with- out them. I, Larry Rea, will a padded bench to the ath- letic department and orchids to all those who have made high school the great place it has been. I, Martha Ryan, will my ability to drive a pick- up truck to Nita Runyan. I, Charlene Rosebraugh, will my sneaky locker to my brother when he becomes a senior (if He makes it). I, Nancy Sensenbach, will my true ponytail to Kathy Bunting, it seems she needs it worse than I do. I, Bob Skeans, will my desk in English IV to some unlucky junior. I, Patricia Sparks, will my grade point average to someone in the junior class who needs it. I, John Stennick, will my precious spot on the varsity basketball bench to Mike Harmon. I, Tom Stennick, will my acting ability to Sharon Sanders. I, Shirley Thomas, will the bass drum and my band uniform to my sister, Carolyn, and hope she isn't as mean as I was in band. I, Mona Turley, will my ability to stay out of trouble to Juanita Baumgardner. I, Eugene Thompson, will my old tennis rackets to Larry Stennick, my place in the chess club to Arvin Hirtzel, and my place on the base- ball team to Bill Roberts. I, Don Wickstrand, will my spot under the weed tree to Larry McCollam. I, Joyce Womack, will my ability to watch track, baseball, and tennis while doing my English sixth period to Carol Girt. 14
