Members of the Student Council represent every organization and class (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) in Rainier Union High School. New organizations were added to the council this year. The Student Council suggested to the juniors and seniors to have a com- bined junior-senior play instead of separate plays. Both the junior and senior class agreed upon the suggestion. The play was given in the spring. The sponsoring of a foreign exchange student was brought before the council. There was much discussion as to how money would be earned to bring the student to Rainier. There was also the question of whom the student would live with when he or she arrived in Rainier. The decision to sponsor one was unanimous. The election of officers was held in the spring when the new officers took over the duties of the former officers. 11
