The climax of formal education. After I2 years of slowly pro- gressing to that point, the Class of i987 finally made it to their senior year. The ambitious class went about the task of seniorizing with incredible energy and en- thusiasm. Finally being allowed to spend the dollars they had worked for three years to earn was a series of events a long time coming. They had no qualms about splurging on a cruise, a trip, or an immaculate prom to name a few. The thrill of participating in these exclu- sively senior activities was a once in a lifetime experience: a thrill that could only be felt by being in the middle of the action. You just had to be there.
