This year, Girl's Club, under the leadership of Jean Collier, President, made a success of every project that they participated in. lVluch of their success came from the careful planning of the meetings scheduled every Wednesday after school, supervised by lVlrs. Yada, Girl's Club Advisor. To help promote unity, this year the Committee Chairman made outfits. Because of the enthusiasm of the girls, many new ideas were thought of, and some different activities were carried through. One of the highlights of the year was the trip to lVladigan Hospital, during December, to entertain wounded soldiers from Viet Nam. This was planned by Deb Kelley, Social Service Committee Chairman, but anyone wishing to participate was welcome.iAnother event to remember was the annual Girl's Club lVliniature Conference, which took place in the fall. The program included solos sung by lVlary Crumbaker, Tony Swanson, and Julie lVlarx. lt was also highlighted by the year's first appearance of the 1968-69 Vlqueens. WWQU
