Our Student Body was confronted with many new problems this past yearp problems which we had never expectedp problems that no other Senior Class had been confronted with before in the history of Rainier Beach. We were invaded by armed men - our halls were filled with truant students and our drives frequently failed. But did we give up? No - we the students of Rainier Beach stuck with it and succeeded in obtaining the much needed spirit that we had lacked earlier. We came back and salvaged a disastrous beginning and built it into a great year to be remembered always. The events of the school year 1968-1969 will be with me forever. l am proud to be the A.S.B. The A.S.B. Officers are Sandy Schultz, Loren lVlcPhiIlips, Vicki Shaw, Al Kubota, Nancy HysIop,Julie Balint. Lorraine Lazo and Ginger Wesley, representatives to Executive Board. EXECUTIVE BOARD Executive Board is the main body of leadership for the school. This year it was under the leadership of Al Kubota and through the participation of the other members, they helped to make this year very successful for Rainier Beach. The Class Presidents are Jody Owen, Linda Martin, Larry lVlartin, Diane Norton, Liz Hawes.
