The Rahway High School Or- chestra was newly organized this year under the direction of Ray Cleveland. The orchestra made its first public appearance at the Christmas program, accompany- ing the High School Chorus in the processional and the Hallelujah Chorus. The strings of the or- chestra also played a Bach Arioso marking the first appearance cf a 9 ring ensemble in the high school this year. As we go to print the orchestra is working on musfc for a Spring Festival, which we are certain will be a great success. The instrumentation is expect- to be excellent next year as tle re are many string players and vvoodwinds coming to the high s hool from the grammar schools. lvlr.
