GUIDES FACULTY AND STUDENTS Two of the busiest people at Ragsdale High School this year were the secretaries in the General Office. Mrs. Audrey Wrike, book- keeper-secretary, and Mrs. Georgia Lundy, secretary, had numerous duties, such as answering the con- stantly ringing telephones, taking care of transcripts, looking after mail, and answering the many questions of people who pass through the office each day. The principal, Mr. T. G. Madison has served Ragsdale High School since 1959. He has seen Ragsdale emerge from a small four grade high school into a full-fledged senior high school. Mr. Ralph Moran has also rendered his in- valuable services to Ragsdale for many years. Both faculty and students have admired and respected his role as a teacher and as an executive administrator. ENGLISH ENABLES STUDENTS TO Communication is more than an informal chat with a friend. It is putting' creativity to use in thought, self expression, and written composition. This communication is the basis of the curriculum of the English Department at Ragsdale High School. In a three-track program with levels of English for the advanced, average, and non-college student, basic English fundamentals and vocabulary are taught with creative writing and literature.
