I am Lucy Coffin Ragsdale High School. I am the faculty, a chalk-smudged, silver-tongued educator whose business it is to foster excitement in dissecting frogs and solving quadratics. I may coach a team, or sponsor a club, but my life is wrapped around hour-long chunks called lectures, which may inspire anything from worship to antipathy in those devilishly blank faces called students. 1 am the scourge of the flunkie and the saint of the enlightened: 1 give grades. The principal, Mr. T. G. Madison has served Ragsdale High School since 1959. He has seen Ragsdale emerge from a small four grade high school into a full-fledged senior high school. Mr. Ralph Moran has also rendered his in- valuable services to Ragsdale for many years. Both faculty and students have admired and respected his role as a teacher and as an executive administrator.
