DRAMATIC AND GLEE CLUBS This year we have had two Glee Clubs, Junior and Senior. The cluts are twice as large as that of last year. we feel we have made progess ln our work. We have sung at various entertainments and assembly programs. Both Glee Clubs were on the program for the Baccalaureate Sermon, Class night, musical recital, Sr. Glee Club Dor1sBarber, Grizelle, Maxine James R. The home of Doris was the first to be invaded xy the Senior Class for a party. The party was given in honor of a former classmate, Colvin Pettus, Jr. who was home on furlough from the V.S. Army. + The Seniors were next invited to Uaxine's for a party. Games were played and later refreshments were served. After the party we all gathered at Fambrourhs and danced by the Juke Box. Claudeen, a former classmate, had the Senior girls for a Spend-the-Night Party. Of course we did not ret much sleep. 4+ Mary Jo was brave enouph to have eight hungry Seniors for supper. Believe me, those Seniors got just what they were invited for---SUPPERL TNN, HJEEEE February 26th. the Senior Clars presented their play,title-'Betty Jane From :'f':'5 Punkin' Lane. Funds went for improvem' nt of the library. ntnggglfv Q, The Junior Three Class won a party for selling the most magazines in the contest k.U WN , 5:25:55 BUD 6? sponsored by the Curtis Publishing Company. Visitors were present and all enjoyed the delicious refreshments. The Junior-Senior Banquet was given April llth. The Senior Class was tie center od attraction despite the beautiful Spring setting. The Senior Class pays great tribute to the Juniors for such a beautiful event. The Junior Class presented the play nGive Me Credit' April lrd. We all agree we should really give those Juniors credit. The Junior Class enjoyed a party at the home oV Helen Edge. Naturally, those Juniors had their dates with them. Mrs. McLrnJon gave a barbercue For the faculty, Seniors, and their dates. For one time lessons were not discussed and the Seniors enjoyed an fvrning with their teachers. like. Robert Keith was joint-hostrss '- iw JFS- 1--CLCl ld0T3s Mr. Stephens, with thc aid of the Senior Class, surprised the Senior One and Two classes with an April Fool Party April lst. At the reception everyone seemed a little stuck-up but had a shocking time . Along the road to Rhyme Town' everyone came face to Face with nkr. Spidern. After registering, everyone tried his luck at card hunting and thosc dunce cap prizes were. very suitable for their winners. The visit through the Art Gallery was tiresome but after a trip to the lunchroom everyone seemed refreshed , If Albert and Betty ere lemons they need not worry because there are always suckcr . Maybe these contestants of the needle threading contest can thread a needle with one fblackj eye now. Lveryonv who entered the Obstacle Race was really stopping' high . And il' any oz' you want to entfr a Speech contest 1011 had better know what you are doing.
