We take credit for putting this yearbook together, but you are the ones who made it possible and we thank you. This book represents the concerted effort of many of your friends, classmates and teachers, and we think it was well worth the effort. In years to come, your Senior Yearbook will serve as the only tangible record of your days at Cordero. We invite you to look through the pages and enjoy the fruits of our labors. As you go into high school, we wish you success, good health and happiness. Remember Cordero! Sincerely, The Yearbook Staff Congratulations From The Staff a message from the principal 3 Dear Boys and Girls: nTem us f itn is a Latin expression which means that time flies. That is the P U8 ' nature of time. It is here for our use, but once it passes, it can never be retrieved Every minute of our lives is precious. Time is the raw material out of which we can make whatever we value in life. We can use it gainfully or we can waste and abuse it. Time is given to us, but what we do with it is what makes the difference between a good life and a wasted one. Time will not wait. It must be used when it comes. Take advantage of it. Do good things, study hard, acquire new knowledges and skills, go on with your education so that you can have a happy, successful and useful life, There is a little poem which sums it all up: it goes like this: THE FROST Young man seize every minute of your time. The days fly by: Ere long you too will grow old. If you believe me not, see there, in the courtyard, how the frost glitters white and cold and cruel on the grass that once was green. My best wishes to you for good luck, good health and happiness! Sinc re yo s, ARUS Principal 3 ......f5.'2?.'Yi!N!5T.'35T!Y.5..?T!iEF... Principal- Mr. L.J. Braffman Executive Asst. - Mr. N.
