jb- ,fs 4.........l Name Fort In seventh and eighth grades we planned and built our own hypothetical communities. We selected locations, planned and zoned the town, organized the government, and published a newspaper. We then selected our vocations and built our homes. Subject matter was utilized from English, Mathematics, Science, Art, and Social Studies. Before building our Community we studied Radnor Township, learned about its govern- ment, cultural life, organizations and vocations. Local citizens were helpful in sharing their information with us. Books, maps, and visits to local places of interest were valuable sources of learning. 9
