We made an extensive study of the literature of other nations, their cultural and scientific contributions to the world, political ideologies, and economic systems. We hope that through this study we have developed that understanding ior world fellowship that will set aside differences in race, nationality, and economic status and permit all men to live and work in harmony. 29 WT!-3 soo i A comp1eLe three act c1rcus on cr tourmg bus . . . with the White lights of Broadway cmd Times Square as C1 backdrop 30 We are proud to think that some of the important Work in our world drama is being done by Radnorites. Our graduates have entered every walk of lite in the professional fields-Law, Medicine, Education, Diplomatic Service, Engineering, Business, Fine Arts, they have made contributions in the trades and non-professional work of the nation, they have established homes and taken their places in the life of the community. Over a period of several years, more than 40470 each year have entered institutions of higher learning or schools of specialized training. The schools entered have extended from Maine to Florida, from the eastern seaboard to California, and have represented more than 75 colleges in 25 states, Canada, Geneva, Cophenhagen, Oxford, and Rome. During the World War almost 1,000 Radnorites served in the armed forces, and almost half of this number rose to the officer rank. They sailed the seven seas, they penetrated every corner of the globe, and took up life in the remotest pin-point islands of the Pacific. We, too, will soon be a part of the world picture. We have read books, consulted catalogues, carried on interviews, visited colleges and industrial plants, and in countless ways received information to assist us in deciding upon our next step. We have faith that we, too, will be worthy of carrying on the traditions of our school. 31 11,1 I 4,61 ' 1 Sf f. ,. I fa 1 fy, I, lr, I ll 1 'ff . , .
