Each year the German Club sponsors a Coronation Ball during Fall Quarter to honor the freshmen. Hooray for the Red, White and Blue was the theme this year with music by The Hash From among the candidates representing each of the freshman dorms.  You've Come A Long Way Baby You've Come A Long Way Baby was the theme for the Glamour Contest sponsored by Panhellenic Winter Quarter. Each year in its search for the ten best dressed college girls. Glamour Magazine has asked Radford to choose a candidate. One girl was selected from each dorm and was asked to model her own clothes selected from three different categories. Between each category, entertainment was provided by members of the various sororities. Ava Campbell, a freshman representing Po-chantus Hall, was chosen to represent Radford College for the 1970 Glamour Contest. Miss Gail Leightenheimer models off-campus attire.
