We live in an age of overwhelming numbers: buildings on campus, books in the library, cars in the parking lot. professors in the departments, courses added to the curriculum, numbers we need to remember, the crowd on the sidewalk, the more than full dorms . . . all of these have grown and will continue to grow. But what of the individual? Sire is the most important aspect of the campus. To her growth is development, an emergence into life, an awakening. To her this edition of the Bee I live is dedicated. 5

The environment of Radford College has provided a subtle atmosphere for the grow in student. We have become more aware of beauty; we are impressed by the nearby lakes and mountains and the friendliness of the people. 6
