It is with reverence that we review the countless memories indelibly imprinted upon our minds-memories that will not depart in a day, or a year, or forever. Conscious of the limitations of our own contributions, we shall re- member the college for longer than it can remember us. We have been known as the war babies, a small class from first to last. Consequently, it has been im- perative for each member to show more than the usual devotion and loyalty. Many of our lives, too, were darkened by the horrors of war, but our burdens, we know, were light compared with those of friends in active service. Our senior year has been filled with eager anticipations and happy fulhllments, but now the fact of no longer greeting each other from day to day becomes a reality. Wvhen tomorrow comes, we can begin anew in life, re- membering the good that we have received from our Alma Mater. As we look back over college days we remember the protection, the guidance, the patience, the friendship, the love and joy that have been oursg and we acknowledge with sincere gratitude our debt to unselhsh parents, deserving teachers, and efficient directors of administration. In humble devotion we bow our heads for what this institution now is and for what it promises in the future. With tears in our eyes and a pain in our hearts we bid it our fond farewell.
