My 15- 3. A V ' AA! : 0 U ' Preface Ever forward and onward the river flows on undaunted to its goal in the sea of waters. With determined persistence it wends its way, overcoming obstacles and surging on in its triumph of destiny. We, like the river, move on into an ever changing world. We face a major turn in our highway of life, leading into an un- known future. We, the Class of l94l, accept the river as a symbol to follow as we travel forward Jie Lfv L gag and onward. May we find the same strength and calm persistence to meet life as it leads us towards the goal which is our destiny. 3 35. 31111 . J i 1fL David Wilbur Peters, Ph. D. P QIDENT . mlm , President Peters and the Class 1941 started their careers at Radford together. We, therefore? claim him as a very important member of our class. As we graduate, we leave him to continue the Radford spirit that he has helped us build during the past four years. We recognized long ago his talents as a prominent educational leader. We have also been delighted to find him an under- standing and an inspirational friend in counseling us towards more useful lives as we say goodbye to college halls. As We leave college, we, the alumnaz, pledge our support to him and the College in building for it a worthy future. xxx lg tj J JA if- , JX f lull al! 7 is My f f f A .
