When we look back on the days that made our school years complete, one person will stand fore- most in our thoughts. She often bore the brunt of our anger and our desipairg but she guided us to the ending we knew was right. To you, the Senior Class of 1947, I extend my sincere good wishes. You will leave Radford with mingled feelings of joy and regret. With joy that you have successfully completed your ipreparatory work and are ready to begin your college careers. At the same time you will regret leaving the old familiar scenes, your many friends here and the happy times you have had in Radford. ln later years you will look back upon these carefree days and realize just how happy you were in Radford and how very dlear the friends are who shared your joys and worries during your high school years. We are reluctant to let you go and we want you to remember that Radford is your second home. We will rejoice with you in any success that may come to you and we will be very proud of every honest effort you make to contribute to the better- ment of society.
