This maga- zine will be the first publication in Radford, on student work in literature, S-uch creations as art work by the art class, poetry, and essays are some of the items to be put in the magazine. Money from the sale of the magazine will be given to the Ram Page and yearbook staff for equipment. They helped clean up at the Freshman- Sophomore Christmas dance and at the Student Council Valentine dance, Cupid's Capers. They will have a money-making project to 'buy ce- ment and molds to make benches for the school. dwffio F 'fgtih The Florescents are a Y.W.C.A. club with T7 members. They have had two service proiectszsgiving a party for the Salvation Army Orphans, and ioining other Y-teens in the Punchbowl project of decorating the many graves with flowers. Among the thirteen subjects taught in the C.A.P. program are weather, air trattic control, national and internation- al satety control, and leadership and drill. Although the Radford Civil Air Pa- trol program is still in its first year ot operation, it is proving to be a popular and worthwhile campus organization.
