Walk-walk-walk-around the And nights were cold. Island. They made a fire They craved publicity One-hundred thirty miles they walked To keep them warm. To get donations mountain high. The Goal was near Island Walk The Walk Around the Island started off the Senior Patio Fund Drive by publicizing the patio. The boys were from Homerooms 243 and 262. Hiking for 243 were Harry Otaguro, Steve Martin, Terry Burk, Carlos Zuniga, Phil Jacques, Soosooalii Savali, and Benny Loa. Representing 262 were Fred Langer, Dave Howell, Skip Curley, Les Daug- herty, Frank Rodriguez, Ricky Seminara, and George Blank. The teams left Radford at 6:00 A.M. on December 26, going in opposite directions. On Sunday 243 ended its walk and 262 fin- ished on Monday.
