ECUTI GFFICER Commander Robert A. Mesler has served as Executive Officer of RADFORD since March 1967. The Commander reported from duty on the staff of Commander in Chief, Pacific Fleet. Commander Mesler, a veteran of 15 years Naval service, received his B,S, degree from Susquehanna University and was commissioned in 1953 upon graduation from Officer Candidate School, He has also received his M.S. degree from the U.S. Naval Post Graduate School. The Commander has had a distinguished career with assignments to several different My types of ships including, USS CANBERRA nf' and USS GRIDLEY. His duties aboard RADFORD and his zeal in carrying them out have helped make this an enjoyable cruise for all hands. a,,,.-fdhiulpp.
