Jerry Bergeson, who recently completed his ag course at Iowa State, is now '54 ' farming west of Radcliffe. Besides farming he is a representative for the Pioneer ' s Seed Corn Company as Pfister Co. went bankrupt. Oleta Liittschwager is now employed by the Bell Telephone Company and is theswitcnboardoperator at Buckeye. Being a very energetic worker, she is on a 24- hour shift. Argyl Ullestad, proprietor of our local Cadillac garage, recently published his first book. He acquired the background for his book How to Raise Turkeys , from' his ag courses in high school and the time he spent raising turkeys before entering his present business. Richard Hanson is driving an Offenhauser racing car for the Bardahl Oil Com- X pany. As a sideline, heisells motorized baby buggies for handicapped mothers. Howard Fosse, multi- millionaire, is now retired and resides in his mansion at Long Island. The reason for Mr. Fosse's prominence is his invention of a 5 ' A bicycle built for 3 . These bicycles went over with a bang and millions have -Q. - E, Q J been produced and sold. Laurice Streyffeler, surgical doctor, of Cook County Hospital, performed his first operation last week: but was soon barred from the medical profession when he was unable to locate some of his surgical instruments after the operation. She just mar- - ried her boss, the president of Bankers Life. Junior Tuttle and Ruth Hansen are operating the Milky Way Cafe at the American landing stop on the earth to moon route. . She will be - glad when the shorter lengths come back into style so she won't trip over her .skirts so much. Barbara Hinderaker has established Barb's Barber Shoppe in Hubbard. She will cut your hair anyway you want it but her specialty is butches. Distinguished playwright, Clark Borland, has just produced another smash hit on Broadway. Frances Skrovig manages a correspondence bureau in Zearing. She has developed her passion for writing letters into a paying proposition.
