Physics and Chemistry are fundamental sciences of the natural world. Most students who study these sciences use them in some related work. A background in mathematics is supremely important for undertaking physical science courses. MR. GAYLE PRICE has an A. B. from Marietta College and a Masters from Ohio State University. Here students have a chance to satisfy their curiosity about the natural world, become familiar with laboratory techniques, make reports and do projects. Mr. Price teaches Advanced Math, Physics, and three classes of Algebra I. MR. CARL WEESE has a B. S. in Education from Ohio University. Here he points to historical locations relative to the unit of study. He teaches two classes of U. S. History, two World History and two Government classes, also directs the Senior Class Play and one Study Hall. History gives an excellent opportunity to learn something of the culture of various groups of people. In this class Sophomore study the people of the Roman Empire and learn what these people contributed toward the development of today's civilization. 8

MR. HOWARD NOLAN teaches Agriculture I, II. He has a B.S. in Agriculture from Ohio State University, and a Masters degree from Chio State University. Here Freshmen are preparing to make budgets. The budget serves as a guide for the students to write their project agreements. Budgets are a part of their work. H 0 M E E C 0 N 7 Mrs. Hamm's Home Economics Class. The Freshmen girls are learning hand stitching and the use of the sewing machine by constructing an apron made from an ordinary bath towel. Mrs. Hamm demonstrates the stitching.

ceeat 5 x ece'- General Science teaches us to develop an understanding of the important principles of science so that the knowledge of these principles may function effectively in dally life. We hope to develop a scientific attitude and to be able to practice the use of these scientific facts and facilities for use in later life. MRS. VINAS LEE teaches stenography. She has a B. S. degree. Ohio University, Post Graduate work, Gregg College, Chicago. Schedule is two Typing Two, two Typing One, General Business, Study Hall and Racina. MR RICHARD CLARKE teaches two General Science classes, two Biology and later this year will sponsor die Track team. He has two Study Halls. Mr. Clarke has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio University. Reading and writing Shorthand is how we learn. After the Shorthand letters are learned, we can spell any word in shorthand. Our ability to read and write at a good rate is very important. There are forty boys and girls in our class.
