Class H :story In September 1945 slxty one Freshmen entered Racine l-hgh School The school rules were presented to us by the Prmcrpal Mr Charles Hayman We struggled through the Freshman Inltlatlon wlth much embarrassment at the hands of our upper classmen The mltlatron conslsted of one day of the ltpstlck treatment and one of Freaklsh dress For our leaders thls year we elected Hazel Whlte Presldent Ruth Bradford Vlce President and Aaron Volfe Secretary Treasurer Our class was well represented ln the scholarship tests at Athens Ohlo When we re entered hlgh school ln 1946 as Sophomores many members had fallen by the wayslde but we stlll had a grand total of flfty fue members We could not functlon long as a group without funds so we decided to pay dues thls year For the class offlcers th1s year we elected Dale Harris Presxdent joan I-Iuddleston Vice President and Charles Norrls Secretary Treasurer Before we were aware of lt a year had passed and thirty four of us were taking our places as jumors at Raclne Hlgh School For our leaders thls year we chose Aaron Wolfe Presldent Della johnson Vlce Presldent Dale Harrls Business Manager, and joan Huddleston Secretary Treasurer Durlng our f1rst three years jlmmy Webb was appolnted to serve as Reporter We earned money by many dlfferent methods thls year to sponsor a bus trlp to Cmcmnatt ln honor of the departlng Seniors The trip was tremendously successful A hlghllght of th1s year was the comedy Nobody But Nancy Now we are a class of twenty seven Senlors How proud we are to have earned that name' For our leaders this year we elected joan Huddleston Presldent, Harry Douglas Vlce President and Audrey Hayman Secretary Treasurer Thls year the farce comedy Love ls Too Much Trouble was successfully presented Now that we have come to the time when we must bxd our teachers and classmates farewell we come to the realxzatlon that these four years have been and always will be the happlest years of our llves 15 I , - I .
