CLASS HISTORY W1th grade school fxmshed and a no doubt, happy vacation gone the Senior Class 1948 entered high school as Freshmen m September 1944 'lhere were forty three members 1n this a comparatwely small class It was significant also mn the fact that It was according to all knowledge ava1lable to our sleepy energies the fxrst class to recewe a double 1n1t1at1on Th1s consisted of fW0 days of blueprlnfed hllmllldf-1011 ORC of frealnsh dress and one of the usual l1pst1ck An apology was m the form of the Freshman Receptxon Class ofhcers for our first year were Mary Louise Simpson president Adele Norr1s, vice president and Alan Carson secretary treasurer ln our Sophomore year there were tlurty fwe members rn the class For the benefit of you stat1stic hounds nineteen gmrls and sixteen boys The Freshmen were mitrated properly and 1n turn entertaxned with the traditronal Freshmen Reception From the upper th1rd of the class the follow1ng off1cers were chosen Tom Wolfe president jean Worthmgton vice presldent and Adele Norris secretary treasurer The jumor year was begun with th1rty four in the class You will not1ce that the amount of decrease was smaller, but keep your seats three were lost to the matnmomal bureau.
