Club 1,2 Intramural Basketball 1,2 ■ -x UNION GOOD FRIDAY SERVICES AT RACINE METHODIST CHURCH APRIL 23, 1943 The student body and faculty assembled at the Racine Methodist Church for their annual Good Friday Services. The program was as follows: Congregational Hymn Prayer—Rev. McCauley Special—Senior Girls Sermon—Rev. Shelton— Ye are my Friends If Ye Obey Solo—Mr3. Wingett Sermon—Rev. McCarley— Judas’ Refusal to Obey Benediction-Rev. Shelton JUNIOR-SENIOR PROM The Junior Class sponsored the Prom Friday april 30 in the school auditorium in honor of the Senior Class. The hours were 8:30 until 12:50. Chairmen of the various committees were as follows: Refreshment—Cha rlotte Roush and Jack Shank; Entertainment—Anna Mae Spencer and Marilyn Diddle; Decoration—Gloria Worthington I and Ed Ihle; Clean-up—Pearl ( Cross and James Shank. The auditorium was beautifully decorated to represent an Hawaiian Island and the 3tage represented the bar room of a ship. The refreshments consisting of fruit punch, potato chips, and ginger snaps were served at the bar on the stage. The evening wa3 spent in playing cards and dancing. The music was furnished by Dick Wiley and his orchestra from Middleport. An enjoyable evening was had by all. T.O. CLUB NEWS The Social Science Club gave a party Friday evening ,-ipril 9, in the auditorium. A delicious chicken supper was served by the refreshment committee which consisted of Jean Carnahan, Betty Circle, Virginia Griswold, and Jan Neigler. The entertainment for the remainder of the evening was preprepared by Marjorie McDade, Buddy Simpson, Lawrence Hilldore, nd Thelma Ours. Members of the club and faculty present were: Mr. and Mrs. Weese, Mr. Nease, Mrs. Lee, Mr. Wolfe, Mr. Hayman, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, Virginia tentz, Jan Neialer, Jean Garnr.han, Myrna Brewer, David Brewer, Anna Timmons' Marjorie McDade, Thelma Ours, Betty Circle, Opal McGraw, Virginia Griswold, Paul Ervin, Bud oimpson, Delbert Smith, Otis McClintock, Scott Shank, Lawrence liilldore.
