The queen and court has always been an important part of homecom- ing. This year was no different. The girls were selected a couple of weeks before homecoming. The court consisted of, Freshman: Dawn Knoch, Shonda Lay; Sophomores: Jenny Herman, Sarah Randall; Jun- iors: Beth Phillips, Kacey Doehrman, Seniors: Susie Lewis, Michelle R. Butler, and Lynn Conley. Student Council decided to try something different this year. Instead of having the girls walking out on the field or riding out in cars at halftime, the girls were driven out in golf carts by their escorts during pre-game. At halftime the girls were introduced and walked out to the football field with their escorts. We Won Again! This year we win again was the theme for this year ' s homecoming. And win again we did. The fighting panthers brought the Bishop Dwenger Saints to their knees with a 19 to 7 victory. The game was a big part of homecoming, but other activities were scheduled during this week. Such as hall decorations, in which the seniors came out the winner. Car decorations, which Julie Dewitt and Molly Dimond won. Tug-of-war and Powder Puff, which the senior girls clenched for the second consecutive year. The spirit throughout the school during the 1985-86 homecoming made GREAT success. The Cheerleaders lead the homecoming crowd through a cheer. -f The sophomore football team shows their support for the varsity players. Homecoming Game 19
