Spirit: Good as Gold! Our school colors, black and gold say much about Snider spirit. Whenever you see the bright gold and black colors it immediately reminds you of the pride that Snider displays. Whether it be football baseball, or basketball games, stands filled with gold and black will be cheering our teams on to victory. The spirit of Snider is as Good As Gold. Summertime Excitement Summertime is full of excitement. It is the time of the year that every student looks forward to. It is a busy time, from summer jobs to relaxing at the lake. During the summer many Snider students take part in the Ft. Wayne Three Rivers Festival. The Raft Race is one of the most popular events. The Bed Race, the ' Shoe Me Your Tan contest and the parade also are a part of the festival. As summer comes to an end, many students are ready to return to school. Most agree that the vacation atmo- sphere will be missed, but getting back to school is a nice change. - Julie Dinuis and Jeff Malmquist relax by the shore on a sunny summer day.
