Pajama Day, Punk Day, Beach Day, 50 ' s Day, and Black and Gold Day were the line up for the 1983 Spirit Week. While people were having fun dressing up at school, the juniors and seniors were getting tough on the footPall field for the Powder Puff game. For the second year in a row, there was a surprising upset with a victorious win for the juniors. First prize for the car decoration contest was won by junior Angie Morrell.

■B-! — — — — ■ Winter Spirit Week 84 Karen Rhoades shows off her outfit for Athletes Day during the Winter Spirit Week. ▼ To start, students dressed for Athlete Day. On Tuesday they came to class all spiffed up for Dress-Up Day. Wednesday brought out the soldiers for Military Day. Thursday was Hat Day. Finally Friday was Color Day. Besides dressing up, many students took time out to vote for the Cutest Baby Athlete Contest and Boys Hush-All Day. Then came the highlight of the week — The Kiss a Pig Contest! Students voted for their favorite (ha ha) teacher to kiss Bliss the pig. The teacher was Mr. Gene Buzzard! To top off the week, Mayor Winfeild Moses and all the TV camera crews were there to help Snider put on one of its best ever!! Veronica Townsend and Yolanda Robinson model their ensembles for Dress-Up Day. ► t Glen Golden dons his sombrero on Hat Day. Coach Kilmer introduces the 1984 Regional Champion Girls Basketball Team at the pep session.
