Spirit Week Ends With A Victory As Spirit Week come to d close the Homecoming night excitement begon to build. The evening stdrted out with the judging of the cor decordting contest. Afterwords students formed d cdr- ovon out to Spuller Stodium. The footboll gome dgoinst Bishop Dwenger wos pldyed before o stond- ing room only crowd of 8000. With o holf time score of 35-44, things looked bright for the Ponthers. Also ot holf time, the Homecom- ing Court wos presented ond Jenny Fonger wos crowned queen. When the gdme resumed the Soints scored two touch downs to mdke the score 35-28 with seven minutes ond ten seconds remoining in the gome. Steve Wild odded d field gool to secure the Ponther victory. The hall decoraTions followed The Theme of EnTerTainmenT and The Sophomores were vicTorious wiTh Their inTerpreTaTion of movies. The real surprise during SpiriT Week came when The Juniors won The Powder Puff FooTball game 7-O over The Seniors.
