A face, one in a million. A smile, a sign of happiness. Friendship, could last a lifetime. Every person here at Snider is unique. We each have our own special talent. Through our years here at Snider, we the students branch out and grow in many different directions. We build personality, friendships and style. These times that we cherish will turn into memories and be captured in a candid. Varsity cheerleader Jenny Fanger prays for the free throw for one more Panther point. Year o£ the Panther Many things can happen in the course of a year and 1981-82 was the Year of the Panther . To start the year off, our mighty Panther football team finished at State! We also had three wres- tlers advance to State competi- tion with 138 pounder Tom Bennett capturing the State title! In addition to all other sports, the remarkable Snider basketball team won the Sectional cham- pionship over South Side! Also our own Mrs. Sophia Rodriguez was voted Teacher of the Year ! Students of Snider High School participated in many varied events. There was the giving of blood, the receiving of carnations, and record-breaking winter weather. Students also got a chance to see what high school students were like across the ocean, when the wrestlers of Commercial High School, Takao- ka, Japan came for a visit. All in all, 1981-82 proved to be full of exciting and memorable events. Extraordinarily, it happened All in a Year! Sofia Rodriguez Teacher of the Year .
