The People 2072169 WELCOME! Snider High School always invites visitors. Take your time and enjoy the tour. You have already seen the front of our school, so let us inform you of the history of our school. Snider was built in 1965. and for a while served as both Junior and Senior High School with classes in the morning as well as the evening. During the construction, a fire delayed the finishing date but Panther Pride and School Spirit prevailed to make Snider the school it is today. The current enrollment is over 1700 and Snider has an experienced staff of teachers and many challenging courses to offer to all students. If you like to get involved in sports then just stay after school and enjoy. We take pride in all our sports including, football, wrestling, tennis, gymnastics, and cross country. All have been ranked in the top 10 in State Competition. Don ' t feel jilted girls, we have girls basketball, volleyball, tennis, track, gymnastics and a new golf team to boot! Sports don ' t interest you? Well, how about Drama, Student Council, Afro-Heritage, plays, both in the fall and spring; DECA; COE; FSA. What would you like to do? If it can ' t be found here, talk to the Student Council and sec if a club or interest can be arranged. Now that we ' ve filled you in on who we are, and what we have, follow us and we ' ll proceed!
