Harvey Hops Into Snider ' s Fall Play The Result? Success! Have I seen a what? A rabbit, 6 feet tall? No, I ' m sorry, I haven ' t. Well, Harvey may have been invisible, but the Snider student body really enjoyed seeing it. This year Snider ' s Fine Arts Department produced Harvey . The funny yet serious story of a compassionate man - Elwood P. Dowd, who keeps company with an invisible six foot rabbit, Harvey. Andy Weissert did an excellent job playing Elwood, one almost felt that there really was a rabbit on stage. Stacia Wallace also added believability to the play in her part as Elwood ' s sister, Vera. The cast of Harvey was made up of veterans from plays and musicals of years past and a few acted in summer productions sponsored by Snider ' s Drama Department. All members felt a sense of loyalty to each other. No matter how big or small the part, all helped in making scenery and state props. The fact that Harvey could be enjoyed by the whole family, and had played in theatres and on Broadway could have attributed to the play ' s success. To sum up the play, all members did an excellent job in expressing the need to accept a person, no matter how different, no matter how large that ' person ' may be!
